The first performance was on 2nd September 1999 at Union Church, Kennedy Road for the Flood Victims on the Mainland in that summer.  This performance of Mozart's "Haffner" Serenade, Kv250, with renowned local violin teacher Cheng Siu Sing as soloist, was repeated in an open air concert on 22nd January 2000 at the Peak Cafe.  This time the recipient Charity was the Hong Kong Organization Helping Hand, The Peak Cafe was most generous with their help and organization.
